Status of Afghanistan

Hey there! Welcome back to my blog “Nomadic Life” once again and today’s secret topic is going to be “Status of Afghanistan”.

Look, as we all know that now Taliban has entirely occupied the country Afghanistan. Taking place of this incident was started majorly from Mazar-e-Sharif, followed by Herat and then towards the capital city Kabul.

Taliban’s terror made Afghanistan’s President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai run away from his own nation and thenafter, most of the people of Afghanistan tried their level-best to escape from their nation. Any flight, any convenience that they could get, they all took it to leave their nation as soon as possible.

Many took their way to the neighbouring nation, Uzbekistan and others took flights to different-different nations as per the availability of flights at airport after Talibanis rushed towards the Kabul Airport also. Some foreigners also in Afghanistan soon took their flights to their nations.

Kabul Airport attack.

Many terror attacks were done by the Talibanis to the people of Afghanistan. Many citizens were died during their escape also at Kabul International Airport. Many families lost their loved-ones during the firing and attacks from Talibanis.

People escaping from Afghanistan, at Kabul Airport.

Many were also failed to successfully escape from Afghanistan due to the situation made there by the Talibanis. Today, many girls, women gets tortured by Talibani people. They do their rape, molest them, beat them, give them third degree torture, and etc. I’m actually getting emotional while writing about the Afghani women!

Talibanis, as per their mood, fire anyone on the roads while roaming around the cities, towns and stuff. They use the people of Afghani nation as per their needs and requirements as mentioned too. Afghani citizens also do labour work for the Talibanis now. I think the people who are still there are living their lives at their worst than anyone can.

The latest status in Afghanistan is that the security situation throughout the country remains dire, with high levels of violence against civilians and Afghan security forces even as the Taliban have refrained from attacking U.S. forces. Afghanistan has been a war-torn country for a long time. I hope the situation will improve soon.

I pray for their well-being and blessings wholeheartedly from God that please give them just a way to escape out of that hell atmosphere. May God bless them with happiness and with a peaceful life as soon as possible. You all, my viewers, please pray for the people of Afghanistan just for the sake of a smile on their faces and for their overall well-being!

Oldest Pyramids of Sudan (More than Egypt)

Hey there! Welcome back to my blog “Nomadic Life” once again and today’s secret topic is going to be “Pyramids Of Egypt Vs Pyramids of Sudan”.

Look, when it comes to Pyramids of Egypt then everyone very well knows about it and atleast visits there once as it’s a well-known historical place of ancient pyramids.

But, if we’re here, talking about Pyramids of Sudan which aren’t well known from beginning but are actually double the Pyramids that Egypt are having then it’s going to be very interesting to know more about the Sudan’s Pyramids!

Very less countable people know about the Sudanese Pyramids! Hence, close to ‘No People’ visits there.

Pyramids of Sudan are actually very historical and of ancient times and therefore, attractive to all of us as a World Heritage Site!

“Pyramids Of Sudan”

Unfortuantely, when you go to visit the Egyptian Pyramids, then there’ll be much crowd doing various activities like clicking pictures with Camel, clicking pictures on or around pyramids and much other things. That’s also the reason, there you’ll not be going to know each and every thing in-depth about the pyramids due to much crowd there!

On the other hand, in Sudan, everything about crowd in comparison to Egypt is opposite throughout the year! Very less number of tourists come to visit Sudanese Pyramids although they’re double the number of pyramids Egypt have. Thus, the visitors in Sudan benefits by feeling the pyramids inside-out and get to know everything about the pyramids in-depth whereas, in Egypt the visitors actually don’t!

Sudanese (Meroe) pyramids are located in the Sahara Desert Sudan and around the River Nile. They’re made in 2nd century or so! So, come everyone and visit to the Sudanese Pyramids too. They’re actually very nicely made and comparable from the Egyptian Pyramids! Many things about these pyramids you’ll got to know there.

Note:- Nubian (Sudanese)Β pyramidsΒ areΒ pyramidsΒ that were built by the rulers of the ancient Kushite kingdoms. The area of the Nile valley known as Nubia, which lies within the north of present-dayΒ Sudan, was home to three Kushite kingdoms during antiquity. The first had its capital at Kerma (2500–1500 BC). Founded:Β 800 BC – AD 100

β€œPlaces/Countries where travellers face most of the problems from the locals and why?”

Look, all the extreme travellers (Nomads) enjoy most of their moments of travelling meeting amazing and helpful people around the world. They enjoy their company while they’re travelling around the world!

But of course, there’re some parts of the world or say, countries where travellers face some kind of difficulties and problems in travelling there and also, in videography and photography!

The Officials or locals of that particular country may take your DSLRs, GoPros, and other electronic devices you’re carrying for just no reason! They all try to make full use of foreigners or make fool of foreigners in every possible way.

They do their level best to make as much money as they can from the outsiders/foreigners in their country! When you’re purchasing something or anything from that country, they’ll make you pay much more than what locals pay for the same or may say that, they’ll try to “LOOT” you as much as they can! They’ll charge you much more for commuting from one place to another in that particular country.

“Very bad experience in Kenya.”

In every single way, they will try to “Loot” you! Restraunts, Snack Corners, vegetable shops, fruit shops, etc. will do the same there with you! For this reason, you must be with or known to a local of there while buying anything from there or while moving around that place.

Examples of such countries or provinces are mostly in or around Africa likewise in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda,Β Rwanda,Β Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia (Addis Ababa), Nigeria, Sudan and probably in some parts of Russian Federation.

In African part, there are many small kids around the streets of that province who’re very trained in stealing money and other valuable items from the foreigners! They first demand some money from you thenafter, they try to steal anything from you!

β€œBad news for Couchsurfers”

Look, we all knew that the Couchsurfing platform was free and easily handled way through which a Nomad could atleast stay or might pass his night in a local’s house where he must be travelling through with the help of http://Couchsurfing.com.

But now, after the arrival of COVID-19 in world, the Couchsurfing platform has also started to charge its users some 4-5K for just your verification and all that non-sense stuff!

It’s very, what’s say, really unfortunate for all of us who’re extreme travellers and travelling immensely around the world!

That platform was the only hope of all Nomads who were in the eye that they can stay or may pass their nights comfortably under a roof where everything is unknown for them.

http://Couchsurfing.com has started charging for both hosting and staying of its users which I guess really unfortunate and a very non-sense and rubbish act by the “Team Couchsurfing”.

One of my freind put objection on this out of the sense policy and asked for the reason behind this act by them! He email-ed the “Team Couchsurfing” and thenafter, he got a reply from Couchsurfing emailing team and what my friend got as reply from them has been exactly shown below;

Read this huge reply-cum-excuses from the “Team Couchsurfing”.

Expecting that the Team CS must take an action and take their policy back asap as every user of it is against of this shit policy!

β€œAll about land-border crossings, immigrations and Visas for transiting countries”

Look, when it comes to land border crossing through one country in which currently you’re to the next transiting country, you should have all your essential documents like let’s say it could be your passport, your citizenship(identity), visa for the particular transiting country or maybe P.C.C., etc.

The border person makes it very clear to himself while permittitng anyone to enter and visit their country.

Same process goes through your immigration for the transiting country! The immigration officer also asks you a few queries about your visit to their country likewise;

1. Why you want to visit their country like the purpose behind coming to their country,

2. What’s your profession like what you’re and what you exactly do,

3. They’ll ask for all your essential documents which are already mentioned above. They may also ask for your hotel bookings or stay!

4. Sometimes in rear case, your return flight tickets too!

Note :- You’ve to answer all the questions asked by the immigration officer clearly and most importantly, confidently! A little hesitation on your face or in your voice may undoubtedly “deport” you!

“Immigration Officer checking visitor’s documents.”

Once you get deported from a country, probably it’ll become difficult for you to visit other countries smoothly too! So, avoid yourself from getting deported from any country.

-> Visa for a transiting country requires your passport, identity, passport-size photos, bank passbook statements and booked Flight Itinerary for the time being in order to show them a booked flight ticket.

Visa issuing officer of the Embassy may also asks for your purpose of visit to that particular country for which you’re applying for visa. Then, probably your visa would be granted for a duration of period for which you’ve asked for!

One thing I wanna say from out of the page, all these stuff like travelling, visiting, answering immigration and embassy officers need your OTT confidence and zero hesitation inside-out! All the very best for it, my dear Nomads!

β€œWhich convenience you should use to travel around the world where hitchhiking isn’t possible?”

Look, if we talk specifically about hitchhiking then, it’s almost possible everywhere around the world!

But yeah, in some parts of the world likewise, in some parts of a particular country, hitchhiking isn’t possible because of the mountainous region, extreme snowfall, lone place, and etc.

The crowd of people there would be zero!!! So, there’ll be no chance of hitchhiking and meeting people for help or so.

For that case, I personally recommend all of you “a Cycle” to continue hitting the road immensely! A cycle is a best vehicle one can have with “two wheels for greenin the eye to protect our world and surrounding environment from pollution and thus, from global warming!

How to “Hitchhike” ?

When it comes to “hitchhike” on road then there are some important facts to keep in mind all the time!

Directly, coming to the point! The important ways to “hitchhike” are as follows:

1. First, to start, you have to get out of cities or villages, or wherever you live. You’ve to be on the right road, going in the right direction. It’s really basic things!

2. Stick up your thumb πŸ‘πŸ» pointing towards the direction of your destination going, indicating vehicles to stop for lift.

3. Look decent like shave and stuff. And try to wear some clean clothes or hide behind your backpack so that nobody sees what you look like!πŸ˜‰

“Hitchhiking in Canada”

4. Keep an eye-contact with the driver at the time when your’re trying to stop them for lift.

5. Don’t hitchhike during night especially on highways. But, if you find the place to be somewhat safe appearing, then only in some urgent cases hitchhike from the gas stations or from the toll plazas.

Note:- From my point of view and experience, avoid hitchhiking from anywhere during the night time as it’s not really ‘safe’ in 95% of
cases and the stuff you know!!!

6. Be in a good mood always like it’s your choice you’ve chosen to hitchhike so don’t be grumpy and always have the patience during hitchhiking. Don’t expect people will stop because you’ll be wrong in 99.74% of cases! “No matter how long you wait, the right ride will come.”

7. Talk with the drivers when you’re in the car, because that’s the only way you can repay them. They would like to hear some interesting stories and experiences, if you’ve the one! πŸ™‚

“So yeah, go out there, enjoy your life and challenge yourself!”

That’s all about the ultimate hitchhiking guides from the topic “Nomadic Life”! Next post will be about the “Couchsurfing” from the same topic πŸ™‚
